This site has been around for several years, and has grown into a wonderful collection of Canadian artists... You are able to search by name, medium, location, and now also if you are looking for a specific aspect within the work, ( eg. "Arctic paintings") if it is within the artists' description you will find it in the search.

The Colored Pencil Society of America has opened up the field of colored pencil work and made it accessible to many, and it showcases the medium in a new light. Colored pencils are not just for kids under the age of 12, they never were.  The CPSA shows you why.

This is an interesting site of work by Brazilian artists.  Debbie & Ian met Magela in Sao Jose dos Campos.  Click on the thumbnails to see the incredible details of his work.  Magela uses interesting woods such as eucalyptus on which to portray his simplistic Brazilian scenes.

Mark Lague easily captures a moment in time, whether a busy street scene or quiet woods. His painting is clean and vibrant with a wonderful sense of movement. He works in oil and in watercolour.

I discovered Carlo Cosentino's work through Galerie Pierre Seguin, probably about ten years ago. His work includes the most surprising grasp of light, walking through the gallery you can almost sense the humidity in the air on a summer day painting, the frosty crispness in the winter work beside it.  Enjoy his website, and if you're ever in Ile Perrot, come to Galerie Pierre Seguin. You're in for a treat.

RozWorks is an inspiring site. If you are one who loves dogs, you will certainly be happy visiting, beatuful studies. If you're just in the mood for browsing you still will find incentive to paint. Roz also does gorgeous bookbinding and beadwork, tight commercial work too, but it's her journals that I truly admire for their freshness and spontaneity. Visit often.

My family's VERY favourite - the Stephen Barry Band, playing music to our ears, hearts & souls for over 30 years!! They have worked with the top blues musicians, yet can evoke magic in each of their solos or the four members playing together; they have a tightly knit sound and are absolutely worth searching out.

Roberta Murray's work impressed me so much I was walking around for several days with ghost images of her work in my head after visiting her site, had to go back again. It has a surreal, other worldky feel to it, echoes of other times, fragility, or perhaps the strength of what remains. My description doesn't do her justice, please see for yourself.
