We are four artists with Canadian ties.

Deborah and Ian are married, and now live on Whidbey Island, Wa. They are both expressive in watercolour and colour pencil, Ian also works in oils and graphite. They have lived in several different locations in recent years that have prompted an artistic response; the one with the most impact being Sao Paulo, Brazil for a few years. They lived in Canada (Nova Scotia, Quebec and Ontario) and Florida as well. Both grew up in the UK. So many influences!

Sarah and Joan are sisters, and live in Ontario and Quebec. We both enjoy photography as an artistic means. Joan also works with calligraphy, acrylics, colour pencils. Sarah is friends with Deborah & Ian. She loves working with polaroid and emulsion transfers, also watercolour, collage & altered books, woodcuts, colour pencil.

We all hope you enjoy your visit.
Thanks for dropping by.

I think it’s great. If you have had your portfolio online already you may also start selling your photos to magazines, there several thousands in US alone. If you're keen and you don't mind sitting at the computer all day you can find all of those magazines in the Internet. Also, there are quite a few really good books and websites out there if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them – http://www.freelance-market.net – and try a couple magazines until you find out what does the job right for you. Of course there are others, the good sites will give you all the information you need to start that includes links, description, payments, etc... without the information overload.
